I am happy. Really.: Why I started Koopla →
koopla: I have a problem: I can’t choose where to eat after work. I work in SoHo, NYC which has a vibrant community of great restaurants (81 by our count). So, you would think this would make my choice easier. But it doesn’t. There are just too many options and no one is helping me sort… So looking forward to this.

Into The Forrst: Forrst v3, one week later. →
forrst: Hard to believe that Forrst v3 launched a mere seven days ago. We’re extremely proud of the product and community we’ve built, and wanted to share a few updates since launch. fame+frippery: Love Ball & Chain's Garlic Clove... →
fameandfrippery: Being that I am a total vamp-geek: I’m currently lapping up True Blood (heart Alan Ball) and Eclipse was finally released via Netflix earlier this month (sort of painful, btw), my stumbling upon Ball & Chain’s garlic clove necklace was ironically well placed. mwunsch: Tumblr has had a history of problematic downtime, but none as excruciating as this most recent debacle. A couple of notes: Tumblr is horribly opaque in regards to its system status. Some transparency would be nice. Look to status.github.com for inspiration. It should be noteworthy that… I think Mark’s point about others relying on Tumblr for status blogs, and other...

How I implemented a "Raw" code link in Markdown...
For Forrst v3, one of the more annoying things about the Markdown formatting available in post descriptions and comments is that, unlike code posts themselves, other user-added code blocks don’t have the same “Raw” link, making it somewhat annoying to copy and paste code. For reference: Here’s a code block as part of an actual code post:...

Only the internet can distract me. So, what do you think, will Kyle be the first person to see Koopla tomorrow?
