- Your earliest users are vital to the success of the community.
- Your web app is only a means to an end.
- The community might end up in a slightly/vastly different place than you intended. Embrace it.
- Be active as hell and be human.
- Don’t take things so personally.
- Have rules and enforce them.
- Reward users for being awesome.
- It’s okay to be exclusive.
- Don’t be afraid to say “no” to features.
