I think Mark’s point about others relying on Tumblr for status blogs, and other mission critical components is a very astute one. Tumblr is awesome for hosting a simple, easy-to-publish-to blog for your company or product, and I hope I’m not alone in thinking that creates a very different expectation of transparency around issues than, say, the community at large would have.
