Okay, this is interesting.
We played with various promoted post mechanics at Forrst, with varying degrees of success. Our users’ best promoted posts were getting > 10% CTR for a well-done post. (That’s something folks holding the pursestrings don’t seem to realize: promoted crap is still crap.)
